Turn inspection deficiencies into completed work.

A fail is not a note. It is the start of a job.

Most shops already find deficiencies. They lose them in paper, email, and a second spreadsheet of “callback” work.

The device record should carry the fail, the photo, and the note. If accounting has to retype a horn/strobe address from a PDF, you will under-bill and you will lose the thread when the customer calls back.

From that same record, create a quote or service call, send it with the inspection report, and keep the deficiency open until the repair is done. That is deficiency management — not a highlighted row on a report.

Customers remember the finding, not your internal ticket number. If they can see the same photos you took on site, follow-up conversations get shorter and the repair is easier to approve.
